Returns

You have 2 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment or let us know if you would like it in an alternate way.

 

You will be notified on the number of days that will be taken for refund to show. It is dependent on factors such as bank policies as well as payment gateway processing.

 

Shipping - Shipping and handling rates vary based on the product, its size and volume, the packaging used and the shipping destination. You will see the final shipping and handling charges at the time of checkout after you provide the shipping address for your order.

Domestic Shipping

 

• We take great care in delivering our handcrafted products to you. In India we partner with reputed national couriers. Our courier partners will be able to deliver the shipment to you between Monday through Saturday: 10 am to 7 pm. Our standard shipping rates apply which begin from Rs 150 to 400 depending upon the volumetric weight the courier companies charge us.

• All orders placed on Abel House website are dispatched through our own courier partners including the likes of Delhivery, Borzo for local city deliveries, Shiprocket, Pickrr.

• The tracking details and carrier information associated with your order will be provided when your order ships. 

• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non¬refundable.

• Due to the pandemic there are some logistical issues that our courier partners are facing which sometimes delay your package. Also, at times deliveries are not in our control in the event of unexpected delays due to extreme weather conditions or disturbances in the city.

• As soon as your package ships, the tracking information will be sent to you.

• If you are generally not home during delivery hours, please use an shipping address where someone will be available to sign for the package. Please ensure that you are accessible in the contact number provided during checkout. Our courier partner will attempt to reach out to you while delivering your package safely to you.

• When you send a gift to your dear one please inform the gift recipient that they should expect a package from you. If they refuse thinking it is an error, we will be unable to deliver your gift.

International Shipping

For our international shipping we charge a flat fee based on the order value to any part of the world outside India. The freight charges will be calculated at checkout. There will be no return or refund for any internationally shipped items.

International Customs and Taxation

Sometimes a customer has to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed the customer has to pay the additional fees.
